We listen, act, and transform
My primary clinical focus is working with children and adolescents, but I can also work with adults. I can begin seeing kids as young as 4 years old. I have experience working in the foster care system, with LGBTQ+ adolescents and children, and with neurodivergent individuals. I also have experience working with individuals who have dementia and their caregivers.
I utilize a variety of evidence-based practices that include trauma informed and developmentally focused play therapy, sandplay, somatic experiencing, and art therapy. I can treat individuals who have experienced traumatic events, familial changes, grief, behavioral concerns, developmental concerns, relational/social concerns, and self-esteem concerns.
I know how difficult it can be to start therapy, so it is incredibly important to me to spend the time to work with clients to build a space of trust, authenticity, and acceptance. I believe counseling is a powerful opportunity for anyone to have a safe space to explore all the day-to-day moments that make them who they are, without judgment.
